Typical Days Around Here

Mommy says I keep her very busy! As we get ready for baby brother to arrive, I figured I should update this blog a little because I'm sure I'll be even more busy helping take care of him, once he arrives!

Here's a little of what I've been up to...

Learning my letters...we do one a week and practice how to write it, paint different pictures that start with each letter, play games about the letter and learn a Bible verse for each one. So far I know A-E!

 I love to watch movies in Mommy and Daddy's bed after I take a bath...and you never know when the rain in Southern California may come, so it's important to be prepared!

We went to Fresno to surprise Grandma Panico for her birthday! Mommy didn't get very good pictures so I'll post more when we get them from others cameras but all the girls went to tea to celebrate!

Last week I got to go into Mormor's classroom and share a movie with her 1st graders! We had fun singing the songs on the movie together. I liked "Mormor's kids" and I think they liked me too :)

I love to go to the park with my friends and play on the swings! Mommy didn't take any pictures besides this one but this park day we started off at IHOP for breakfast for National Pancake Day! There were 8 kids and 4 mommies with 3 more babies on the way! After we ate yummy pancakes, we all went to the park to burn off some energy before naptime!

We loved having Uncle Tim and Auntie Brooke visit from Florida 2 weeks ago. I had so much fun with them and am sad they live so far away.

When you play hard, you sleep hard too! I couldn't quite make it to naptime!

...and when you sleep hard, you wake up with crazy hair :)

Bday and Vday!

For mommy's birthday and Valentine's Day, we had a fun night playing at home as a family! We got Claim Jumper for dinner and brought it home. We opened birthday and Valentines Day presents, played Candyland and Elefun and made yummy chocolate chip calzones for dessert!

Fun at the Zoo!

We got to go to the zoo with Karsten, Bryson and Aubrey last week and had such a fun day! Karsten and I liked the tiger and "hungrillas" (gorilla) the best and BryBry's favorite was the camels and turtles. We all had fun spitting like the camels and standing like the flamingos!

A Morsel of Wisdom

When you sneak books at bedtime, it's very important to line them all up and categorize them by genre...it helps mommy & daddy laugh at you instead of being in trouble for getting out of bed :)

I also got a Princess baseball and bat from Mormor and Papa - it one of my favorite things to play with now....daddy's too!

Christmas at Disneyland!

We went to Disneyland with all the McElroys and Grandma Panico for a few days in between Christmas and New Years...unfortunately all of Southern California had the same idea as we did and the place was packed! They stopped selling tickets at 10am the first day we were there because it was sold out! We made the most of it though and still had a good time. The next day it poured in the morning which kept the crowds away. It got sunny around lunch time and ended up being a great day! Daddy got to take the day off of work and come with us too!

Christmas...Take 4!

On the Sunday after Christmas, we all went over to Grandma and Papa GG's house to celebrate with all of the aunts, uncles and cousins! It's always a crazy & fun time :)

Christmas Day in Fresno

We woke up early on Christmas morning and drove to Grandma and Papa Mac's house in Fresno. When we got there, Grandma told me that Papa and Uncle Mikey went to get a surprise for me and my cousins. When I woke up from my nap, they took me outside and I saw a big pile of snow on the driveway! I had fun playing in it for a while until the rest of the family came over. It was a fun day!
